Can you add M-Pesa to my existing website or app?
In most cases, yes. We check your platform during scoping and recommend the cleanest way to connect it.
Do I need a Paybill or Till number?
Yes. To receive payments in production you need an M-Pesa for Business Paybill or Till number, and a Daraja account linked to it. We guide you through setting these up.
Can customers pay by card as well?
Yes. We add card payments alongside M-Pesa using Stripe or Checkout.com, and we've shipped both in production: Stripe for Inside My Closet and Checkout.com card payments in a UK healthcare app. We recommend the right one during scoping. See payments integration.
Who holds the money?
You do. Payments go directly into your Paybill or Till. Bridgetree never receives or holds your customers' money.
